Summer is the best season for fashion lovers and is the perfect time to refesh your wardrobe. At Ramjet we have added some fabulous new labels to our range to tickle your fancy as well as the old favorites that you know and love. Our favorite at the moment is Fever a vintage inspired label from London and one of Britain 's most exciting independent fashion brands. Fever’s individual style is inspired by original vintage prints redesigned with a contemporary edge. It’s suitable for all aspects of life, work, and play - right through to evening and special occasions wear.

The silhouettes of the 1950s and 1960s make a strong return this season, with shapes that accentuate curves and foster femininity. This look has swung its way back onto the scene as a 2010 / 2011 fashion trend. Beautiful flowing and soft fabrics, with pretty florals are this seasons key pieces.

Ramjet is also embracing the rockabilly trend paying tribute to the revolution rock 'n' roll music launched during the 1950s. Our new label Fables by Barrie has a very unique look that brings inspiration from our favorite vintage styles to current times with a modern twist. Those who would like to experience a stylish turn back into the past will be thrilled.

Other new arrivals include fantastic diner dresses hand made by Lenny's custom clothing and Retro Spek'd beautiful handmade dressed from Sydney.

With all these beautiful sunny days we can’t help but think that winter is finally taking its last gasp, and the warmer weather and those long lazy summer days are just around the corner. So its time to strip off our winter woollies and welcome fabulous summer/ spring fashion! Ramjet has already started receiving new exciting stock, a sneak peak of what’s to come. As most of you probably know at Ramjet you can find everything from basics to party outfits men’s jeans to formal dresses. This season we will see lots of ruffles, fabulous floral prints, denim shorts and of course bikinis with bold beautiful colours, ethnic prints as well as summer floral patterns to look forward too. Not long now so be quick and layby for summer!
In May Ramjet celebrated its 7th birthday! (oh my god we’re getting old....just joking ramjet is as funky/ fresh as ever) So that means for 7 years now Ramjet has been supplying the people of Newcastle with new and exciting sometimes quirky fashions from all around the world and this summer is no exception. We are have taken on some new exciting labels to keep you coming back for more.
Also this year we introduce our sister store Goodie 2 Shoes (155 Darby st) 2 minutes down the road!

This month Ramjet is thrilled to be involved in Newcastle Fashion Week a not-for-profit event to raise funds for the Cancer Council. The night will provide exposure to young designers, photographers, hair and make-up artists, students and musicians from the Newcastle area. And guess what? Ramjet is honoured to be the opening parade! Newcastle Fashion Week (September 23th-25th) aims to put Newcastle on the map as a fashion and cultural hub. Its three days of fashion and fun for a good cause, all of us at ramjet are excited to be a part of it!
